Live music video while Hollywood meets AI

This musics mini music video was filmed and generated live during the conference AiOnTheLot.

This is a story built out of my own experience. Every scene was filmed on a mobile phone during the conference and then immediately transformed into an AI animation, using 10zebra’s app.

That’s how I met new friends while waiting in line for coffee at “AI on the Lot,” and how this AI powered music video together during yesterdays all day event between AI & Hollywood.

Industry vets from studios … ai creators known by their discord handle … yesterdays all day event brought together AI & Hollywood.

In Renard Jenkins’ keynote address, he made the point that the idea “Hollywood is Over” is false, just like the idea that AI is a person. But how we create media is surely changing.

“It’s just math” he said in front of a wall of equations that are not even equations. He was illustrating the point that AI models are statistical machines, tools in our control.

Looking down at my own cell phone, I felt empowered by the technology. Using 10zebra for creative expression - GPUs were flipping bits thousands of miles away, and then new visuals would arrive on my phone, updating the realtime music video.

The best things about this community: everyone’s curiosity and openness to sharing knowledge. It might be starting with a silly idea. ( e.g. “AI Nerds meet the Apocalypse”) .. but everyone is helping each other level up. Using constraints as an additional creative accelerant.
